YUKO ITATSU LABORATORY, THE UNIVERSITY OF TOKYO

On October 13, 2022, the Institute for AI and Beyond will hold the AY2022 Research Results Presentation. In the AY2022 Research Results Presentation, 11 leaders of research projects in the “Basic Research (Medium- and Long-term Research)” will disseminate their research results to date, as well as new academic outlooks resulting from the integration of AI and various research fields to the society at large.

The B’AI Global Forum is a research team of the “Basic Research (Medium- and Long-term Research)” at the Institute for AI and Beyond. Our Forum was formed in the ‘AI and Society’ division of the Institute to conduct various projects aimed at achieving a gender-equal society that guarantees minority rights in the AI era. Yuko Itatsu, who assumes the Director role of the B’AI Global Forum from October and a professor of the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies at the University of Tokyo, will present our research findings in the AY2022 Research Results Presentation.

2022年10月13日（木）、東京大学Beyond AI研究推進機構が「2022年度研究成果発表会」を開催します。今回の研究成果発表会では、11件の基礎研究（中長期研究）プロジェクトの各リーダーが、これまでの研究成果やさまざまな分野とAIの融合による新たな学術的展望について、広く社会に向けて発信します。

B’AIグローバル・フォーラムは、東京大学Beyond AI研究推進機構の基礎研究（中長期研究）プロジェクトの「AIと社会」部門として、AI時代における真のジェンダー平等社会の実現とマイノリティの権利保障のための実践を目指しています。「2022年度研究成果発表会」では、10月よりB’AIグローバル・フォーラムのディレクターを務める板津木綿子（東京大学大学院情報学環・学際情報学府）がB’AIグローバル・フォーラムの研究成果について発表します。
