The lab welcomes those interested in cultural and social issues, which include minority studies, digital technology and the everyday life, leisure studies, media representation, transnational cultural exchange, globalization of popular culture.

Note on Admissions
As Dr. Itatsu is currently affiliated with multiple programs at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tokyo, applicants may consider the following ways to join the Itatsu Lab. One is to go through the admissions process for the Language and Information Studies Department at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Itatsu will also consider applications through the Global Society Program (GSP) and Integrated Human Sciences Program for Cultural Diversity(IHS), both of which are English-medium programs at Komaba Campus.
Please note she will not be accepting students at the ITASIA Program in the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies (Hongo Campus) for the Autumn 2027 intake.

入学・進学に関しての注意
現在、東京大学で複数のパスから板津研究室に参加する方法があります。 一つは、東京大学大学院総合文化研究科言語情報科学専攻で受験する方法です。他には、英語で行われているGlobal Society Program (GSP)や 多文化共生・統合人間学プログラム Integrated Human Sciences Program for Cultural Diversity(IHS)の選考過程を経ることも可能です。
なお、2027年度秋入学については、本郷キャンパスの東京大学大学院情報学環・学際情報学府 (ITASIA)では、学生の受け入れはしない予定です。
※入学・進学を希望する学生は、出願期間前に、板津先生に連絡をとることができます。 願書が提出されてから合格発表までは、入進学希望者への返答は差し控えています。
