Ginger Huang is a Master’s student at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies. She earned her undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Connecticut and previously worked at consulting firms, where she focused on projects related to digital inclusion and climate change. Her current research examines how Mandarin-speaking mountaineering communities in Japan produce and share embodied, localized knowledge systems through leisure practices. More broadly, she is interested in the intersections of migration, technology, and the emotional dimensions of human-space-technology relationships.

東京大学大学院学際情報学府修士課程。アメリカ・コネチカット大学で人類学を学び、卒業後はコンサルティング会社で、デジタル・インクルージョンや気候変動に関するプロジェクトに従事してきました。現在は、日本における中国語話者の登山コミュニティを対象に、レジャー実践を通じていかに身体化されたローカルな知識体系が構築・共有されているのかを研究しています。より広くは、移動、テクノロジー、そして人間・空間・テクノロジーの関係性における感情の側面に関心を持っています.
