My research field is multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary. As a woman, Brazilian and immigrant myself, I’ve been searching about the Brazilian Community in Japan. For my master’s thesis, I’ve conducted the first large-scale empirical investigation of the Brazilian community in Japan, under a sociolinguistic approach. My current research mainly focuses on the representation on minorities in Japanese advertisements. I am also a ballet dancer and an assistant professor at Bunkyo Gakuin University, Department of Business.

私の研究分野は学際的です。日本に在住するブラジル人であり、移民の女性として、在日ブラジル人コミュニティに興味があり、研究してきました。修士論文では、質的と量的な視点から、在日ブラジル人コミュニティにおける言語維持を研究しました。民族誌的アンケート調査とインタビューを用い、在日ブラジル人の言語能力と言語使用を分析しました。博士課程に進んでからは、主に日本の広告におけるマイノリティグループのイメージ・アイデンティティについて研究しています。４歳からバレエをやっています。現在、文京学院大学・経営学部の助教もしています。
