My field of research is Sociolinguistics; mainly focuses on bilingualism (or Multilingualism / language use) and identity. Since I’m Coda (Hearing Children of Deaf Adult/s) myself, I have been interested in and studying bilingualism and identity of Coda and Deaf. Since I have experienced pregnancy, childbirth and childcare during my doctoral program, I am also working as a project researcher at Office for Gender Equality, The University of Tokyo. I teach a class at Seisen University as a part-time teacher.

研究分野は社会言語学で、主にバイリンガリズム（マルチリンガリズムや言語使用も含む）やアイデンティティについて主に研究しています。私自身がコーダであることから、コーダとろう者のバイリンガリズムやアイデンティティについて興味があり研究をしてきました。4歳の息子がおり、博士課程在学中の妊娠・出産・育児の経験を生かして、東京大学男女共同参画室で特任研究員としても勤務しています。清泉女子大学で非常勤講師も務めています（ユニバーサル・コミュニケーション演習）。
