YUKO ITATSU LABORATORY, THE UNIVERSITY OF TOKYO

Lab member Amaël Cognacq will present at the 6th Open Seminar of the Japanese Men/Masculinity Research Society, to be held at Rikkyo University in Tokyo on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Together with collaborator Sari Kamiyama, Master Candidate at Waseda University, he will give a presentation in Japanese entitled “Rethinking the ‘Japanese Man’ Category: Historical Legacy, Power Relations, and the Invisible” (〈日本人男性〉というカテゴリーを問い直す──歴史的遺産、権力関係、そして不可視化されるもの).

ラボメンバーのコニャック・アマエルは、2025年10月26日（日）に立教大学にて開催される男性/男性性研究会の第6回オープンセミナーにて研究発表を行う予定である。

早稲田大学修士課程の加美山紗里さんとの共同研究として、発表題目は「〈日本人男性〉というカテゴリーを問い直す──歴史的遺産、権力関係、そして不可視化されるもの」であり、日本語にて発表を行う。
