Lab member Shuyi Li delivered an oral presentation at the 11th Annual Conference of the Japan Society of English for Research (J-SER). The conference was held on September 13, 2025, at Toyo University (Hakusan Campus) in Tokyo, Japan.

Her presentation, titled “Investigating Writer-Centered Strategies for Enhancing EAP Writing through Large Language Model Prompting,” explored how rhetorically informed prompting can transform Large Language Models (LLMs) from generic proofreaders into analytical partners. By strategically embedding audience, purpose, and genre into prompts, her research demonstrates ways to foster greater writer autonomy and critical engagement while addressing the risks of “Algorithmic Nativespeakerism” in AI feedback.

研究室メンバーである李書懿（リーシューイ）が、2025年9月13日に東京・東洋大学（白山キャンパス）で開催された第11回日本リサーチ英語学会（J-SER）年次大会において、口頭発表を行いました。

発表題目は「Investigating Writer-Centered Strategies for Enhancing EAP Writing through Large Language Model Prompting」であり、本研究では、レトリック（修辞）に基づくプロンプティング（オーディエンス、目的、ジャンルを意図的にプロンプトに組み込む方法）を通じて、大規模言語モデル（LLM）を単なる校正ツールから分析的パートナーへと転換する方法を探讨しました。この研究では、ライターの自主性と批判的関わりを高めるだけでなく、AIのフィードバックに潜在する「アルゴリズミック・ネイティブスピーカーイズム」と呼ばれるリスクに対処する方法も示されています。
