Lab member Shuyi Li will deliver an oral presentation at The Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) PanSIG 2025 Conference. The conference, themed “Agency & Autonomy in Language Learning,” will be held on May 17-18 at Kanda University of International Studies (神田外語大学) in Chiba.

Her presentation, titled “Empowering EAP Writers: Writer-Centered Prompt Design with LLMs,” will explore effective prompt crafting strategies for Large Language Model (LLM) assisted English for Academic Purposes (EAP) writing. The talk will emphasize a writer-centered and ethical approach, proposing that prompts designed with specific rhetorical strategies across pre-writing, during-writing, and post-writing stages can empower EAP writers while preserving their agency and critical thinking.

研究室メンバーである李書懿（リーシューイ）が、全国語学教育学会（JALT）PanSIG 2025大会にて口頭発表を行います。本大会は「言語学習における主体性と自律性」をテーマとし、5月17日から18日にかけて千葉の神田外語大学で開催されます。

発表のタイトルは「EAPライターのエンパワーメント：LLMを用いたライター中心のプロンプトデザイン」です。本発表では、大規模言語モデル（LLM）を活用した学術英語（EAP）ライティングにおける効果的なプロンプト作成戦略を探求します。執筆前、執筆中、執筆後の各段階で特定のレトリック戦略を組み込んだプロンプトをデザインすることにより、EAPライターが主体性と批判的思考を維持しながらエンパワーされるという、ライター中心かつ倫理的なアプローチを提案します。
